McCain — Palin '08
I read an exciting article about election fraud in the United States. Rejecting spoiled ballots sounds like fun.
I Found Something Funny and Sad
I posted some helpful writing tips a while ago thinking that nobody who has managed to graduate from high school would need them. Then I found a paper written by a friend of a friend who was a super senior at the time. I'll let you decide if he needs some extra writing help:
The first page is probably the best one.
A Cavalcade of Mediocrity
I just read a fun article about how most IT professionals suck.
I would generalize this guy's arguments to all jobs, hobbies, activities, etc.; it seems to me like standards are dropping across the board, but especially in education. If your child fails a class in school, it's not his fault, the teacher just expects too much of him. Even in some universities *cough* Michigan State *cough*, expectations are lowered because some students might not be able to handle the workload and would feel bad inside if they failed :'(. Well then, who shouldn't be going to college in the first place?
America Makes me Sad :(
Especially when I see stuff like the Presidential Prayer Team for Kids. Because praying for the president is totally going to make him do a better job. At first I thought this couldn't be serious, but then I remembered that I live in a country initially populated by religious lunatics expelled from Europe. :'( Check out the downloads section; they have a PowerPoint slide!
I did read some cool stuff today though:
How Much is $700 Billion?
A lot. My favorite one is 2200 McDonald's apple pies for everyone in America.
