I found a new favorite toy: Translation Party. It's easy: enter an English phrase and Translation Party will translate it back and forth between English and Japanese until it reaches "Equilibrium."

I started taking proverbs from Wikiquote after a while and the results were pretty great. These are my favorites:

• A fool and his money are soon parted.
• April showers bring May flowers.
• A watched pot never boils.
• Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
• Hell has no fury like a woman scorned.
• Never look a gift horse in the mouth.
• The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The Robots are Taking Over!

It seems like the Japanese have taken us one step closer to the apocalypse. Some temp agency in Japan rented a bunch of robots to act like receptionists.
I've also discovered the ASPCR exists. They want to outline a robot bill of rights and such. Poppycock, I say.
And then there's PLEN. I don't really speak Japanese, so I can only guess that this is some kind of entertainment robot intended to subjugate the masses and eventually take over the world. On roller skates.

Just a Quick Update

I found a cool website that has links to a bunch of TV shows you can watch online. Not sure if I've already posted this one, so if I have, sorry. I also have a new band that I like. It's just a couple of Japanese guys who play acoustic guitar, but they're really good. They're called Depapepe. My favorite songs so far are Night & Day and Summer Parade. Well, that's it.
